Please refer to the HP ap5000 VFD BIOS Power setting section for details on how to enable the power on the serial ports. 9.15 HP ap5000 VFD (JPOS) Question: In the JPOS test utility, after I click on the "OPEN" button I receive a failed message when the default name is used that appears in the JPOS test utility. How to fix this error? Answer: The logical name of the device is "HPap5000LineDisplay". Replace the "defaultLineDisplay" that appears in the logical name box with "HPap5000LineDisplay".
