9.23 HP RP7 / RP3 Monitor Question: How can I tell if I have Projective Capacitive or Resistive monitor on the RP7 or RP3 unit? Answer: The Projective Capacitive display has flush glass on the front of the unit, the resistive display has a border around the touch. Projective Capacitive Resistive Question: In Windows XP or POSReady 2009 environment I have dual Projective Capacitive display setup but the touch on the second monitor is registered on the primary monitor when I touch the screen. Answer: The "Multi-mouse-daemon" utility needs to be run to provide the touch driver the monitor information. The "Multi-mouse-daemon" is found in driver's version 7.5.52.00 or later and must be installed with the "/dual" parameter. Question: In Windows 7 or POSReady 7 environment I have dual Projective Capacitive display setup but the touch one of the screens the mouse cursor is on the other screen. Answer: The Windows 7 or POSReady 7 environment needs to be configured for the primary and secondary touch. Please refer to the "Touch in Dual Monitor Setup in POSReady 7 or Windows 7" section.
