Installing Windows NT Software Installing the ThinkPad Features Program for Windows NT Note: If you have already installed an old version of the ThinkPad Features program and are running the Fuel-Gauge program, close the Fuel-Gauge program before the installation. To install the ThinkPad Features program: 1. Start Windows NT, and insert the ThinkPad Features Program Diskette for Windows NT into the diskette drive; then open Windows NT File Manager. Select Drive A on the File Manager menu. 2. Double-click on INSTALLN.EXE. Follow the instructions on the screen. Installing the PC Card Support Software for Window NT Important If your system is connected to a network, log off before starting installation. 1. You must be logged on to Windows NT as Administrator. 2. Remove any PC cards that are in the slot. 3. Insert the CardWizard for Windows NT diskette in the diskette drive. 4. Be sure to read the README.TXT file before you start installation. Apply any relevant information from this file. 5. Select Run from the Windows NT Start button. Enter a:\setup and click on OK. 6. Follow the instructions on the screen. Installing the ThinkPad Features Program for Windows NT
Note:
If you have already installed an old
version of the ThinkPad Features
program and are running the
Fuel-Gauge program, close the
Fuel-Gauge program before the
installation.
To install the ThinkPad Features program:
1.
Start Windows NT, and insert the ThinkPad Features Program
Diskette for Windows NT into the diskette drive; then open
Windows NT File Manager
