Installing Windows NT Software When you use these token-ring cards, you need to install the IBM PCMCIA Token Ring Device Driver. Use the Windows NT PCMCIA Token Ring Device Driver files in NTTRCC.ZIP for your Windows NT. To install the device driver: Note Before you install this driver, you must first install Windows NT Service Pack #2 or a later release. 1. Click on Main in the Program Manager screen. Then click on Control Panel, Network, and Add Adapter. Windows NT prepares a list of the network adapters it supports. 2. Click on the dropdown list icon, and scroll to the bottom of the list and click on Requires disk from manufacturer. 3. When you are prompted, insert the device driver diskette into the diskette drive. Follow the instructions on the screen. 4. When you are finished adding the adapter, click on OK and follow the instructions on the screen. Installing the PCMCIA Adapter Card Network Device Driver for Windows NT Version 4.0 Windows NT V4.0 supports integrated network adapter cards for PCMCIA network adapter, ISA adapter, and PCI network adapter cards. To install your adapter card's network device driver, do the following: 1. Click on My Computer. 2. Click on Control Panel; then click on Network. 3. Click on the Adapters tab at the Network menu; then click on Add. 4. Select your network adapter from the option list.
