WARNING Do not guess at values for the fields on this page because your SPA400 devices will not properly function without proper network settings. Refer to the information that you collected before beginning the installation. STEP 3 Enter the following information to configure a static IP address for the SPA400: • IP Address: Enter an IP address that is out of the scope of the LAN's DHCP server, such as 192.168.2.192. Type a period (.) to move from one octet to the next. • Subnet Mask: Enter the appropriate mask for your network. • Gateway: Enter the IP address of the network gateway. • Primary DNS: Enter the IP address of the DNS server for your network, which may be the same as the gateway address, as in this example. • Secondary DNS server's IP addresses as appropriate for your network.
