Connecting the Equipment Configuring Inbound Call Routing 4 Configuring Inbound Call Routing You can determine whether inbound calls are routed to the Auto Attendant or to a particular extension or hunt group. Optionally, you can route calls to the Auto Attendant only if they are not answered by an extension or hunt group within a specified number of seconds. The Configure the SPA9000 Call Routing Rule page appears when you click the Next button on the Configure the SPA9000 Internal Phone Extensions page. STEP 1 Choose the appropriate option: • If you want to route all inbound calls to the Auto Attendant, select the first option, and then enter the desired number of seconds to ring before the Auto Attendant greets the caller. The default value is 12 seconds. • If you want to route all inbound calls to a particular extension, select the second option. Then choose an extension from the drop-down list. If the phone does not have voice mail, an unanswered call is forwarded to the Auto Attendant after the specified number of seconds. Configuring Inbound Call Routing
You can determine whether inbound calls are routed to the Auto Attendant or to a
particular extension or hunt group. Optionally, you can route calls to the Auto
Attendant only if they are not answered by an extension or hunt group within a
specified number of seconds.
The Configure the SPA9000 Call Routing Rule page appears when you click the
Next button on the Configure the SPA9000 Internal Phone Extensions page.
