This numbering is entered in the P memory reserved for this purpose in the computer. The Creative 1471 has 16 P-memories from P0 to P15. In each memory up to 99 stitches can be stored. If a pattern has more than 99 stitches, the next free P-memory has to be selected and further stitches stored. Up to 694 stitches can be memorized, distributed among the P memories, so the capacity of 7 memo ries can be fully utilized. The computer will not accept more than that. The total of 16 P-memories is available for the case when a number of sewing patterns with fewer than 99 stitches are to be sewn.
