When the machine is switched off by pushing the master switch. pufling out the mains plug or by power failure, the program memory in its computer is retai ned by a battery. After the machine is switched on again, program 00 (straight stitching with the needle in its middle position) appears. Program combinations remain memorized. If a program is enter ed during sewing, it will not become ef fective until the machine has stopped and the foot control is pressed again. Stitch length and stitch width can be changed during sewing. For bobbin winding disengage the sew ing mechanism. After bobbin winding make sure you re engage the sewing mechanism, otherwise the hand wheel will turn at an extremely high speed when you press down the foot control. In this case, take the toot from the foot control, wait for the hand wheel to stop, then re-engage the sewing mechanism. Owing to the use of electronic components, this machine becomes warmer than non-electronic machines. This is quite normal. Debido a los elementos electrOnicos, esta máquina se calienta más que las no electrónicas, pero eso es completamente normal. Pilas: Cuando se gasten las pilas, aparece en el panel indicador 104 Ia palabra "pila' en cuatro idiomas.
