WORM DRIVE TRANSMISSION CONSTANT MESH Description This transmission is very similar to the "INTERNALLY CLUTCHED" on page 1 - 1. However, the helical gear is different as there is no internal clutching (Fig. 022). Engagement and disengagement is accomplished by pivoting the transmission to tighten or loosen the belt. Internal repair procedures are the same, as is the lubrication requirement, 90 wt. gear oil rated GL-5 or higher. 1. Jam nut 2. Lock washer 3. Half pulley 4. V Belt 5. Pulley spacer 6. CONSTANT MESH
Description
This transmission is very similar to the “INTERNALLY
CLUTCHED” on page 1 – 1. However, the helical gear
is different as there is no internal clutching (Fig. 022).
Engagement and disengagement is accomplished by
pivoting the transmission to tighten or loosen the belt.
Internal repair procedures are the same, as is the
