THE GRAND TOUR User's Manual Optical Media drive One of the following optical media drives is installed in the computer: CD-RW/ DVD-ROM drive, DVD-ROM drive, DVD-R/-RW drive, DVD +-R/+-RW drive, DVD Super Multi drive. An ATAPI interface controller is used for CD/DVD-ROM operation. When the computer is accessing a CD/DVD, an indicator on the drive glows. Region codes for DVD drives and media CD-RW/DVD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-R/-RW, DVD +-R/+-RW drive, DVD Super Multi drive and media are manufactured according to the specifications of six marketing regions. When you purchase DVD-Video, make sure it matches your drive, otherwise it will not play properly. CDs ◆ CD-R discs can be written only once. The recorded data cannot be erased or changed. ◆ CD-RW discs can be recorded more than once.
