R850/R840/R830 Universal Serial Bus (USB 2.0) port One Universal Serial Bus port, which complies to the USB 2.0 standard, is provided on the left side of the computer. HDMI out port HDMI out port can connect with Type A connector HDMI cable. Right side (R830) The following figure shows the computer's right side. Memory media slot This slot lets you insert an SD™/SDHC™/ SDXC™ memory card, miniSD™/microSD™ Card and MultiMediaCard™. Refer to the Optional devices section in Chapter 3, Operating Basics for more information. Optical disc drive The computer may be configured with a DVD Super Multi with Double Layer recording drive. 2.6GB and 5.2GB DVD-RAM media cannot be read from or written to. Headphone jack Microphone jack A 3.5 mm mini headphone jack enables connection of stereo headphones. A 3.5 mm mini microphone jack enables connection of a three-conductor mini jack for monaural microphone input. User's Manual 2-26
