Other Useful Features MUTE/SETUP Setting the XM Auxiliary Data Field (ADF) gf Preset 4 Preset 5 Adjusting Source Signal Levels If the difference in volume level betweenFM radio and other sources is too great, adjust the FM signal level as follows. After carrying out steps 1 to 3 of "To display the SETUP screen" (page 29), perform the operation shown below. 1 When the monitor is open, press and hold MUTE/SETUP for at least 2 seconds. The SETUP screen appears. 2 Press preset 4 to select the RADIO setting mode. Press preset 4 again to select FM LEVEL. 3 Press g or f to select the FM signal level HIGH or LOW to make the signal levels between the FM band and other sources closer. For any other settings, press preset 4 or another preset button. 4 After setting is completed, press MUTE/SETUP to return to normal mode. 34-EN You can set the Auxiliary Data Field (ADF) display of the received channel. After carrying out steps 1 to 3 of "To display the SETUP screen" (page 29), perform the operation shown below. 1 When the monitor is open, press and hold MUTE/SETUP for at least 2 seconds. The SETUP screen appears. 2 Press preset 4 to activate the RADIO setting mode. Press preset 4 again to select XM ADF. 3 Press g or f to select ON or OFF. Select ON to display Auxiliary Data Field (ADF) in the XM mode (refer to "Changing the Display" on page 13). For any other settings, press preset 4 or another preset button. 4 After setting is completed, Press MUTE/SETUP to return to normal mode. Subwoofer Control On and Off After carrying out steps 1 to 3 of "To display the SETUP screen" (page 29), perform the operation shown below. 1 When the monitor is open, press and hold MUTE/SETUP for at least 2 seconds. 2 Press preset 5 to set to the SYSTEM setting mode. Press preset 5 again to select the SUBWOOFER mode. 3 Press g or f to select Subwoofer ON or OFF. For any other settings, press preset 5 or another preset button. 4 After setting is completed, press MUTE/SETUP to return to normal mode. NOTES • Initial mode is "SUBWOOFER ON." • Set to "SUBWOOFER OFF" unless the subwoofer is used. • When the subwoofer is turned on, the subwoofer output level can be adjusted.
