Other Useful Features TITLE MUTE/SETUP gf Preset 3 Preset 5 CHG/R.SEL Rear Monitor Setting The optional expansion box (KCE-104V) must be connected. If AUX/NAV. is turned ON (as shown in "Setting the External Input" on page 37), and a rear-seat monitor and navigation system are connected to the CVA-1004, the picture/sound for the rear-seat monitor can be selected from the CVA-1004. There are two ways to set the Rear Monitor: • by pressing R. SEL (short cut) • by the SETUP screen After carrying out steps 1 to 3 of "To display the SETUP screen" (page 29), perform the operation shown below. Setting by R. SEL 1 When the monitor is open, press and hold CHG/R.SEL for at least 2 seconds, or press REAR ON on the optional Remote Control. . 2 Press CHG/R.SEL to select MONITOR-1 OUT or MONITOR-2 OUT. 3 Press g or f to select the mode to display on the rear monitor. AUX-1/AUX-2/AUX-3∗ : The picture/sound of the device connected to Terminal AUX will be played on the rear-seat monitor. ∗ AUX NAME set in the "Setting the External Input" (page 37) will be displayed. NAV. : The navigation screen will be displayed on the rear-seat monitor and the voice guidance will be produced if the navigation system is connected. SPE.ANA : The SPE.ANA image is displayed when set to ON in "Displaying Spectrum Analyzer"(page 38). OFF : AUX OUT mode is canceled. 4 After setting is completed, press and hold CHG/R.SEL for at least 2 seconds to return to normal mode. Setting by the SETUP screen 1 When the monitor is open, press and hold MUTE/SETUP for at least 2 seconds. The SETUP screen appears. 2 Press preset 3 to activate the AUX setting mode. Press preset 3 again to select MONITOR-1 OUT/MONITOR-2 OUT. 3 Press g or f to select the mode to display on the rear monitor. For any other settings, press preset 3 or another preset button. 4 After setting is completed, press MUTE/SETUP to return to normal mode. NOTE If a DVD player or DVD changer is connected to the AUX 1, AUX 2 or AUX 3 terminal, the DVD picture appears by performing steps 1 and 2 of "Simultaneous Operation" on page 39. Then, perform steps 1 to 4 on this page so the DVD picture and sound are output. 36-EN
