36 CHAPTER FOUR Setting Beeper Volume You can set the beeper to LOW, HIGH or OFF. The default setting is LOW. When the beeper is set to LOW or HIGH, the MFC beeps every time you press a key or make an error, and at the end of fax sending or receiving. 1 Press Function , 1 , 1 , 4 . 2 Press or to select your setting. 3 When the screen displays the setting you want, press Set . 4 Press Stop to exit. Setting the Handset Volume You can adjust the handset volume any time you are talking on the telephone. There are two handset volume levels, LOW and HIGH. The default setting is LOW.
