Software Installation (Windows) Follow the procedure below to install the software. IMPORTANT • Install the software before connecting the scanner to the computer. • Log on to Windows as an Administrator. • Close all other applications before installing the software. 1 Turn the power of the computer ON. 2 Insert the Setup disc into the CD-ROM drive of the computer. 3 Click [Typical Installation]. NOTE When you select [Typical Installation], all of the displayed software and the User Manual will be installed automatically. If you want to reinstall only specific software that you have previously uninstalled, select [Custom Installation] and specify the software. 14

Follow the procedure below to install the software.

Install the software before connecting the scanner to the computer.

Log on to Windows as an Administrator.
