5.8.1 Inboard Expansion Board To remove an inboard expansion board, complete the following steps: 1. Remove the system unit cover (Section 5.6). 2. Remove the retaining screw and board retainer bracket that secure the board to the rear of the computer chassis. 3. Remove the expansion board. Figure 5-8. If you are installing an expansion board for the first time, remove the slot cover before installing the board. Remove the expansion board.
