6.18 LED Cable To remove the LED cable, complete the following steps: 1. Remove the access panel (Section 6.6.1). 2. Remove the front bezel (Section 6.16.1). 3. Disconnect the cable from the connection on the system board. 4. Remove the power supply switch assembly (Section 6.17.1). 5. To remove the LEDs from the switch bracket, gently pull on the cable while at the same time spreading the clips of the LED retainers. Figure 6-32. Removal and Replacement Procedures - Minitower
6.18 LED Cable
To remove the LED cable, complete the following steps:
1.
Remove the access panel (Section 6.6.1).
2.
Remove the front bezel (Section 6.16.1).
3.
Disconnect the cable from the connection on the system board.
4.
Remove the power supply switch assembly (Section 6.17.1).
5.
To remove the LEDs from the switch bracket, gently pull on the cable while at the same time
spreading the clips of the LED retainers.
