Keyboard Tilt Foot 1.7 Options The options that are available from Compaq for the Compaq Deskpro 2000 Series of Personal Computers are described briefly in the following sections. 1.7.1 Cache Upgrade The L2 cache on the Pentium system may be upgraded from 256 KB to 512 KB by means of an optional cache module. The L2 cache on the Pentium II system configuration is fixed at 512 KB. 1.7.2 System Memory The system memory may be increased to a maximum of 384-MB SDRAM by the addition of DIMMs to the three DIMM sockets on the system board. 1.7.3 Audio Upgrade s Compaq Business Pro Audio ESS 1868 s Compaq Multimedia Sound System; stereo speakers and microphone for telephony 1.7.4 Mass Storage Options The following mass storage options are available from Compaq for the Compaq Deskpro 2000 Series of Personal Computers: s LS-120 drive: 1.44-/120-MB, 3.5-inch, external and internal third-height. The LS-120 drive will also read/write to 720-KB media. s EIDE hard drives: 2.1 GB, 2.4 GB, 3.2 GB, and 4.3 GB s Ultra SCSI hard drive: 2.1 GB and 4.3 GB (requires a SCSI controller board) 1-24 Product Description
