Syntax ntp multicast client [multicast-address] To disable multicast reception, use the no ntp multicast client [multicast-address] command. Parameters multicast-address (OPTIONAL) Enter a multicast address. Enter either an IPv4 address in dotted decimal format or an IPv6 address in X:X:X:X::X format. If you do not enter a multicast address, the address: • 224.0.1.1 is configured if the interface address is IPv4 • ff05::101 is configured if the interface address is IPv6 Defaults Not configured. To receive NTP information from the network via multicast, configure the switch.

To disable multicast reception, use the

(OPTIONAL) Enter a multicast address. Enter either an IPv4 address in dotted decimal

format or an IPv6 address in X:X:X:X::X format. If you do not enter a multicast address,

ff05::101 is configured if the interface address is IPv6
