To clear the protocol-independent multicast (PIM) tree information base, use the clear ip pim tib command. Syntax Parameters clear ip mroute [vrf vrf-name] {group-address [source-address] | * | snooping} vrf vrf-name (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword vrf followed by the name of the VRF to configure this setting on that VRF. NOTE: Applies to specific VRF if input is provided, else applies to Default VRF. group-address [source-address] * snooping Enter the multicast group address and source address (if desired), in dotted decimal format, to clear information on a specific group.
