Dell(config-if)# interface range gigabitethernet 5/1 - 5/23, gigabitethernet 1/1 - 1/2, Vlan 2-100, Port 1-25 Dell(config-if-range-gi-1/1-1/2,gi-5/1-5/23,vl-2-100,po-1-25)# no shutdown Dell(config-if-range)# Related Commands • interface port-channel - configure a port channel group. • interface vlan - configure a VLAN interface. • show config (from INTERFACE RANGE mode) - display the bulk configuration interfaces. • show range - display the bulk configuration ranges. • interface range macro (define) - define a macro for an interface-range. interface range macro (define) Defines a macro for an interface range and then saves the macro in the running configuration. Syntax Parameters define interface range macro name interface , interface , ... name interface, interface,... Enter up to 16 characters for the macro name. Enter the keywords interface range and the interface information. Select the range of interfaces for bulk configuration. You can enter up to six comma-separated ranges. Spaces are not required between the commas. Comma-separated ranges can include VLANs, port-channels, and physical interfaces. • For a 1-GigabitEthernet interface, enter the keyword GigabitEthernet then the slot/port information. • For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port information. • For a Tunnel interface, enter the keyword tunnel then the tunnel ID. Defines a macro for an interface range and then saves the macro in the running configuration.

Parameters

name

Enter up to 16 characters for the macro name.

Enter the keywords

interface range

and the interface information. Select the range

of interfaces for bulk configuration. You can enter up to six comma-separated ranges.

Spaces are not required between the commas. Comma-separated ranges can include

VLANs, port-channels, and physical interfaces.

•

For a 1-GigabitEthernet interface, enter the keyword

GigabitEthernet

then the

slot/port information.

•

For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword

TenGigabitEthernet

then

the slot/port information.

•

For a Tunnel interface, enter the keyword

tunnel

then the tunnel ID. The range is

from 1 to 16383.

•

For a VLAN interface, enter the keyword

vlan

then a number from 1 to 4094.
