The paper does not eject properly. When using the pull tractor, tear off the paper entering the printer, then press the LF/FF button to feed the paper forward. When using the push tractor, tear off the paper at the last printed page, then press the Font and LF/FF buttons together to feed the paper backward. When you switch between single sheets and continuous paper, the beeper sounds once and the Pause light comes on. You may have tried to change the paper-release lever position while paper remained in the printer. Return the paper-release lever to the previous position and eject the paper.
