Dirty Rollers. Any dirty

may result in a
repetitive print defect.
Examine and clean rollers in the paper path. See

Paper does not meet
specifications: The
surface of the paper
may be too coarse,
causing repeated
marks.
Try a different paper lot. See “General Media
Specifications” (page 28).
Toner Cartridge is
damaged. The
circumference of the
photoconductive drum
inside the toner
cartridge is 94 mm
(3.7 inches). If the
defect repeats at this
interval, the defect is
associated with the
drum.
Inspect the drum for scratches or damage. Replace
the Toner Cartridge.
