3. Remove the clip. Repeat these steps for the remaining retainer clip. TIP: One of the clips is made from a black conductive plastic. Make sure that the clips are reinstalled on the side of the transfer roller that they are removed from. Figure 1-8 Remove the transfer roller (2 of 3) 4. Slide the roller to one side to disengage the roller shaft from the mounting bracket, and then remove the transfer roller. CAUTION: Do not touch the black sponge portion of the roller.
