● Tape the wire harness to the sheet-metal frame so that it will not catch on internal components as the ITB is installed. With the ITB partially installed, feed the wire harness through the opening in the chassis. See Figure 1-53 Remove the ITB (8 of 9) on page 33. Finish installing the ITB. WARNING! Do not place the tape so that it makes contact with or adheres to the transfer belt. Tape or tape residue on the transfer belt will cause print-quality problems.
