Figure 26 Note A basic point-to-point (PPP) configuration is one HBA to one bridge. Note All SCSI targets in an MO jukebox must be connected to a single bridge using a single SCSI connection. SCSI targets in a two-bus MO jukebox may be connected using a double SCSI connection. 3. Connect one end of the optical cable into the GBIC on the bridge and the other end into the Fibre Channel HBA in the host (the HBA may also require a GBIC). 4. Connect the power cord from the bridge to a power strip in the library. 5. Confirm that all cable ends are connected securely and that the end of each bus is properly terminated. The bridge, in its default configuration, provides internal termination at the end of each SCSI bus. 6. See Powering on the System on page 76.
