Option Description SSID Use this box to manually enter the SSID of the wireless network if it is not found by the scan. SSID Hidden Enable this option if the SSID of the wireless network is set to be hidden (not broadcasting). Enable IPv6 Enables IPv6. IPv4 is used by default, and they cannot be used at the same time. Enable Power Management Enables the power management feature for the wireless adapter. Connection Method Lets you select between Automatic and Static. If your network environment is using DHCP, then the Automatic option should work without any further configurations. If Static is selected, the Static Address Configuration settings will become available. Be sure to input these values according to whether you are using IPv4 or IPv6. Security Settings Lets you set the authentication setting to one of the following: ● None ● WEP ● WPA/WPA2-PSK ● 802.1X-TTLS ● 802.1X-PEAP ● 802.1X-TLS ● EAP FAST For WEP and WPA/WPA2-PSK, you just need to enter the network key and click OK. For EAP-FAST, set Anonymous Identity, Username, Password, and Provisioning Method. You do not need to change the PAC file settings. Use these boxes to set proxy server information using the following format: http://: HP recommends using the http:// prefix for all three proxy settings because it is supported better.
