H This indicates the head number of the track to be formatted. (L = 0) In LBA mode this register specifies that LBA address bits 24-27 are to be formatted. (L = 1) Input Parameters From The Device Sector Number In LBA mode this register specifies the current LBA address bits as 0-7 (L = 1). Cylinder High/Low In LBA mode this register specifies the current LBA address bits as 8-15 (Low) and bits 16-23 (High). H In LBA mode this register specifies the current LBA address bits as 24-27 (L = 1). Error This indicates the Error Register. An Abort error (ABT = 1) will be returned under the following conditions: ! The descriptor value does not match the certain value (except 00h).
