A label is placed on the top of the HDA containing the statement "Made by IBM" or equivalent, Part No., EC No. and FRU No. ! A bar code label placed on the disk drive based on user request. The location on the disk drive is to be designated in the drawing provided by the user. ! Labels containing the vendor's name, disk drive model number, serial number, place of manufacture and UL/CSA logos. ! The presence of labels containing jumper information depends on customers. 6.9 Electromagnetic compatibility The drive, when installed in a suitable enclosure and exercised with a random accessing routine at maximum data rate, shall meet the following worldwide electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements: ! United States FCC (Federal Communications Commission) Rules and Regulations (Class B), Part 15. ! RFI Suppression German National Requirements. ! RFI Japan VCCI Requirements of IBM products. ! EU EMC Directive Technical Requirements and Conformity Assessment Procedures. 6.9.1 CE Mark The product is certified for compliance to EC directive 89/336/EEC. The CE marking for the certification appears on the drive. 6.9.2 C-Tick Mark The product complies with the following Australian EMC standard.
