Step 2 Configure the settings for the local alarms. Parameter Description Alarm-in Port Alarm Name Enable Device Type Schedule Select the channel number. Enter the customized alarm name. Enables or disables the local alarm function. In the Device Type list, select NO or select NC as the voltage output type depending on the device attached. Click Setting to display the setting interface. Define a period during which the motion detection is active. For details, see "Setting Motion Detection Period" section in "5.10.4.1 Configuring Motion Detection Settings." Anti-Dither Alarm-out Port Configure the time period from the end of event detection in which the events will not trigger. Click Setting to display the setting interface. ● Local Alarm: Enable alarm activation through the alarm devices connected to the selected output port. Post-Alarm Show Message Report Alarm Send Email Set a length of time for the Device to delay turning off the alarm after the external alarm has ended. The value ranges from 0 seconds to 300 seconds, and the default value is 10 seconds. Select the Show Message check box to enable a pop-up message in your local host PC software. Select the Report Alarm check box to enable the system to upload the alarm signal to the network (including alarm center) when an alarm event occurs. Select the Send Email check box to enable the system to send an email notification when an alarm event occurs. To use this function, make sure the email function is enabled in Main Menu > Advanced Settings > Network > Email.
