7 FAQ 1. DVR does not boot up properly. There are following possibilities: ● Input power is incorrect or insufficient. ● Power connection is incorrect or insufficient. ● Power switch button is damaged. ● Program upgrade is incorrect. ● HDD malfunction or something wrong with HDD jumper configuration. ● Seagate DB35.1, DB35.2, SV35 or Maxtor 17-g hard drives are known to have compatibility issues with the HDVRs. Please upgrade to the latest version firmare or swap hard drive models to solve this problem. ● Main board is damaged. 2. DVR frequently shuts down or stops running. There are following possibilities: ● Input voltage is unstable or it is too low. ● HDD malfunction or something wrong with jumper configuration. ● Button power is not enough. ● Front video signal is not stable. ● Working environment is too harsh, too much dust. ● Hardware malfunction. 3. Hard disk cannot be detected. There are following possibilities: ● HDD is bad. ● HDD jumper is damaged. ● HDD cable connection is loose ir disconnected. ● Main board SATA port is broken. 4. There is no video output whether it is one-channel, multiple-channel or all-channel output. There are following possibilities: ● Firmware/ OS is incompatible. Please upgrade to the latest version. ● Brightness is 0.
