2. ADVANCED OPERATIONS Operating RTTY (FSK) The IC-7610 has a built-in RTTY decoder and encoder. Using a USB keyboard and the contents set in the RTTY TX memory, you can do basic RTTY operations without using an external device or software. LIf you are using PSK software, refer to the software manual. RTTY DECODE screen RTTY DECODE screen Key Action Selects the Function menus. HOLD/ CLR Turns the Hold function ON or OFF. Touch ••" HOLD " is displayed, and the RTTY DECODE screen stops. Clears the displayed characters. Touch ••While the Hold function is ON, 1 sec. this clears the characters and cancels the Hold function. TX MEM Opens the RTTY MEMORY screen. Opens the THRESHOLD screen. You can adjust the threshold level. ADJ ••Checking the RTTY DECODE, rotate MAIN DIAL to adjust the threshold level to where the characters are not displayed by noise. DEF Resets the Threshold level to the Touch default. 1 sec. LThe [DEF] key is displayed when after touching [ADJ]. MAIN/SUB Changes between the Main RTTY DECODE screen. or Sub band EXPAND Selects the Expanded or Normal screen. LOG Displays the RTTY DECODE LOG screen. ••Starts/Stops logging, selects the file type or the time stamp. LOG VIEW Displays the RTTY DECODE LOG VIEW screen. ••You can check the saved RTTY log files. SET Displays the RTTY DECODE SET screen. 17

The IC-7610 has a built-in RTTY decoder and

set in the RTTY TX memory, you can do basic RTTY
operations without using an external device or

You can adjust the threshold level.
• Checking the RTTY DECODE, rotate

DIAL
to adjust the threshold level to
where the characters are not displayed
by noise.
DEF
Touch
1 sec.
Resets the Threshold level to the
default.

The [DEF] key is displayed
when after touching [ADJ].

Changes between the Main or Sub band
RTTY DECODE screen.
EXPAND
Selects the Expanded or Normal screen.
LOG
Displays the RTTY DECODE LOG screen.
Starts/Stops logging, selects the file
