7. MEMORY OPERATION Memory channels The Memory mode enables you to quickly select often-used frequencies, modes and other parameters. You can change the operating frequency, mode and so on while operating in the Memory mode. LYou can temporarily tune all the memory channel frequencies by rotating MAIN DIAL . Memory channel 1 ~ 99 P1/P2 Displayed Regular memory channels. 1 frequency, 1 mode, 1 filter, memory name, tone settings (including tone frequencies for repeater and tone squelch) and select memory scan setting in each memory channel. Scan Edge memory channels. 1 frequency, and 1 mode and 1 filter in each memory channel as scan edges for programmed scans. Selecting a Memory channel 1. Select the Main band or Sub band. (Example: Main band) 2. Push QUICK , and then touch "VFO/MEMORY" on the Quick menu. 3. Touch [MEMORY] to select the Memory mode. Memory mode (Example: Memory channel 1) 4. Select the Memory channel. Rotating MULTI to select a channel: Rotate MULTI until you select the Memory channel you want to use. (Example: 2) To close the VFO/Memory screen, push EXIT . Selecting a channel on the MEMORY screen: Display the MEMORY screen, and then touch to select a Memory channel. (Example: 2) ••The channel is selected and automatically closes the MEMORY screen. Memory channels
The Memory mode enables you to quickly select

Selecting a Memory channel
1.
Select the Main band or Sub band. (Example:
Main band)
2. Push
QUICK
, and then touch “VFO/MEMORY”
on the Quick menu.

Touch [MEMORY] to select the Memory mode.

4. Select the Memory channel.

to select a channel:

until you select the Memory
channel you want to use. (Example: 2)
To close the VFO/Memory screen, push
