4085-001 Diagnostics (Mode 2) - Input Tray Tests Tray 1 Sensor Test This test determines whether or not the Tray 1 input sensor is working correctly. To run the test, select Tray 1 from the INPUT TRAY TESTS menu. The following screen is displayed: Tray 1 PO=OP Terminology: • PO or Paper Out refers to the empty sensor. Once this screen is displayed, the sensor can be manually actuated. When the sensor is closed, CL is displayed. When the sensor is open, OP is displayed. If the wrong message is displayed, the sensor is malfunctioning. OP = Empty Tray CL = Not Empty To exit the test, select Return or Stop. Tray 2 Sensor Test This test determines whether or not the Tray 2 input sensor is working correctly. To run the test, select Tray 2 from the INPUT TRAY TESTS menu. The following screen will be displayed: Tray 2 PO=OP PT=CL Terminology: • PO or Paper Out refers to the empty sensor. • PT or Pass-through refers to the pass-through sensor. Diagnostics (Mode 2) - Input Tray Tests
Tray 1 Sensor Test
This test determines whether or not the Tray 1 input sensor is
working correctly. To run the test, select Tray 1 from the INPUT
TRAY TESTS menu. The following screen is displayed:
Terminology:
PO
or Paper Out refers to the empty sensor.
Once this screen is displayed, the sensor can be manually actuated.
When the sensor is closed,
CL
is displayed. When the sensor is
open,
OP
is displayed. If the wrong message is displayed, the
sensor is malfunctioning.

Tray 2 Sensor Test
This test determines whether or not the Tray 2 input sensor is
