Router mode: Manage the DHCP server address pool If the access point/router is in router mode, it functions as a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. The access point/router assigns IP, DNS server, and default gateway addresses to all computers and mobile devices that are connected to its LAN subnet. These addresses are part of the same IP address subnet as the access point/router's LAN IP address. The DHCP address pool for the LAN subnet is 192.168.0.2 through 192.168.0.254.
