Printer Output Special Notes 1. Characters may be enlarged through the use of Character Expansion command (see page 24). 2. Character spacing may be altered through the use of the Character Pitch command (see page 27). The default is 2 dots between characters. It is recommended to use a spacing of 5 dots for OCR-A and 1 dot for OCR-B. 3. You may also create characters or fonts. See the T Custom-Designed Characters command (page 22). 4. A font must be defined for each field to be printed. There is no default font. 5. The proportionally spaced fonts XU, XS, XM, XL and XA can be printed with fixed spacing using the PR Fixed Space command. 37

Special Notes
