Set RS232 Parameters Command Structure CRaaaaa,b,c,d aaaaa = Baud rate (9600, 19200 or 38400) b = Parity (N for None, O for Odd, E for Even) c = Number of data bits (7 or 8) d = Number of stop bits (1 or 2) Example: CR9600,N,8,1 Placement: Must be sent in a separate data stream. Default: 9600,N,8,1 Command Function To select the desired RS232 communication settings. Input to Printer A CR9600,N,8,1 Z Printer Output There is no printer output as a result of this command. Special Notes 1. Any commands sent to the printer over the RS232 port within two seconds of receiving the command may be lost. 2. The RS232 settings must match those of the host system. If the RS232 settings are unknown, printing a Self Test label will list the current settings. 94
