Lamp/Temperature/Filter Indicators ■■Temperature indicator Indicator status Lighting in red Flashing in red (2 times) Flashing in red (3 times) Status Warm-up status Internal temperature is high. Solution zzWait at least five minutes in the current status. zzInstall the unit in a location with an ambient temperature of 0°C (32°F) to 45°C (113°F)*1. zzRemove any objects that are blocking the air intake/exhaust port. zzMove the projector to a location with an ambient temperature of 0°C (32°F) to 45°C (113°F)*1 and a humidity of 20% to 80% (no condensation). zzClean the air filter unit or replace it. ( page 144) zzTurn the switch to ( page 51), and consult your dealer. *1: When using the projector at high elevations (1 400 m (4 593 ft) - 2 700 m (8 858 ft) above sea level), the operating environment temperature will be 5°C (41°F) lower than the maximum limit. The upper limit of the operating environment temperature will be reduced by a further 5°C (41°F) when using the replacement lamp unit (for portrait mode). When using a smoke cut filter, the temperature will be 0°C (32°F) to 35°C (95°F). However, it cannot be used at high elevations. Note zzIf the temperature indicator is still lit or flashing after taking the preceding measures, ask your dealer to repair the unit. ■■Filter indicator Indicator status Status Lighting in red The filter is clogged. The temperature inside or outside the projector is abnormally high. Flashing in red The air filter unit is not attached. Cause zzIs the air filter unit dirty? zzIs the air intake/ exhaust port blocked? zzIs [HIGH ALTITUDE zzIs the air filter unit MODE] set attached? correctly? Solution zzClean the air filter unit or replace it. ( page 144) zzRemove any objects zzWhen using the zzAttach the air filter that are blocking the projector at high unit. air intake/exhaust elevations 1 400 m port. Note zzIf the filter indicator is still lit or flashing after taking the preceding measures, ask your dealer to repair the unit. zzIf the filter is clogged, only one lamp may light even when [LAMP SELECT] is set to [QUAD], [TRIPLE], or [DUAL].
