User Tools Menu Item Skip Feed Auto Quality Start Setting No. of Idling Rotations: Auto Quality Start*1 No. of Idling Rotations: Quality Start Deflector Angle Auto Class Description You can select [Display] or [Do not Display] and set the number of Skip Feed. The time can be set from 2 to 9 times. Default: [2 times] You can select [On] to have the machine automatically carry out a few idle spins when the power is turned on. When selecting [Off], you can restore the density by making a few extra prints or by using the Manual Quality Start mode. Default: [On] You can select how many times the drum unit idles after the displayed time periods have passed in Auto Quality Start mode. When you use the Quality Start mode, you can select how many times the drum unit idles. Default: [7 times] You can change the angle of the wing guide depending on the paper type you use. Available settings: [Up]: Select this setting when standard thickness or thin paper misfeeds at the paper exit section occur frequently. [Down]: Select this setting when A4 - B5 JIS, 81/2 × 11 thick paper is not delivered properly to the paper delivery tray. Default: [Auto] Instead of using the Separate mode, you can make the following settings: [Start Automatically]: After the last page of each printing set is fed out to the paper delivery tray, the machine stops for a few seconds. Then, the next cycle begins. [Stop]: After the last page of each printing set is fed out to the paper delivery tray, the machine stops. If you press the [Start] key, the next cycle begins.
