1. Getting Started Print Size This section describes the maximum print size and the missing image area. Maximum Print Size • (mainly Europe): 290 × 412 mm (11.4 × 16.2 inches) (approx. A3 size) • (mainly North America): 290 × 422 mm (11.4 × 16.6 inches) At low temperatures, the maximum print size may be somewhat smaller. Missing Image Area Even if you place an original in the ADF or on the exposure glass properly, a margin of a few millimeters of the original might not be printed. The first 6 mm (0.24 inches) of the leading edge cannot be printed. When using the ADF the first 6 mm (0.24 inches) of the leading edge as well as the last 2 mm (0.08 inches) of the trailing edge cannot be printed. Original Print a = 6 mm (0.24 inches) 34
