Making a Call - Quick Search Dialing Two-Touch Dialing Memory locations 010 through 099 are special Two-Touch dialing locations. Example: For location number 013, briefly press the key, then press and hold the def key until the name and number appear in the display and the number is dialed. Three-Touch Dialing Memory locations 100 through 999 are special Three-Touch dialing locations. Example: For location number 113, briefly press the key, briefly press the key again, then press and hold the def key until the name and number appear in the display and the number is dialed. Pause Dialing From a Contacts Entry • If you speed dial a contact that contains (two-second) T pause(s) simply wait for the pauses to pass and the dialing to complete. • If you speed dial a contact that contains (hard) P pause(s), wait for the appropriate prompt(s) from the number you are calling (credit card number, bank account number, and so on) and enter the appropriate response(s). Making a Call - Quick Search Dialing Use the Quick Search feature to dial any number stored in your Contacts list by pressing the number keys that correspond to the first few letters of a Contact name. Quick Search Dialing a Contact To find and dial a Contact, do the following: 1. In standby mode, press the number keys that correspond to the first few letters of the Contact name, as shown. 2. Press the Up navigation key. The Contact List screen appears showing the desired Contact name, as shown. 3. Press to call the number.
