To set the password: 1. Tap Start. 2. Tap Settings. 3. Tap the Personal tab at the bottom of the display. 4. Tap the Phone icon. 5. Tap the Security tab at the bottom of the display. 6. Tap Change Password. 7. If desired, tap the check box next to Prompt if device unused for. 8. Use the drop-down menu to select the amount of time before you are prompted for a password when the i700 is idle. 9. Select either Simple 4 digit password or Strong alphanumeric password, depending on your preference. 10. Enter a 4 digit password or alphanumeric password in the text box next Password. 11. Tap ENTR. You're prompted to confirm the password change. 12. Tap Yes to confirm or No to return to the previous screen. Personal Settings 47
