Microsoft Pocket Applications Microsoft Reader® An e-book is a book, magazine, or other text that is available in electronic format. In addition to plain text, some e-books offer multimedia such as pictures and sounds to enhance the reading experience. Microsoft Reader allows you to download e-books and view/read them in a clean, uncluttered layout. For more information on Microsoft Reader, go to www.microsoft.com/reader/. Open Microsoft Reader 1. Tap Start located in the upper left corner of the screen 2. Select Programs. 3. Tap Microsoft Reader. 4. Microsoft Reader opens with the options listed in the following table. Option Function Go to Library Shop Help Settings Return Go to a section of the current document. Search through downloaded documents, sort them by properties such as document size, title, and author. Shop for e-books on-line. Open Microsoft Reader Help. Adjust or settings such as font size and select whether you wish to view such things such as bookmarks or drawings within your documents.
