Operating Basics Before writing or rewriting ■ Based on TOSHIBA's limited compatibility testing, we suggest the following manufacturers of CD-R/RW and DVD-R/+R/-RW/+RW/-RAM discs. Be careful to check the disc for dirt or damage before you use it. ■ The actual number of rewrites to CD-RW, DVD-RW, DVD+RW or DVD-RAM is affected by the quality of the disc and the way it is used.
