Jams Jam at Duplex Unit, B8 or B13 Open Right Door A. Check for jammed media below Registration Roller B. Paper above the Duplex Unit? Yes Remove paper from above the Duplex Unit. No Pull Duplex Unit out until it stops. Lift lid and remove paper and scraps. Still jamming? No Problem solved. Yes Removed jammed media stuck in the slot on the left side of Tray 1. Note: Before troubleshooting, make sure a supported media is used for printing and that the media is free of damage such as wrinkles, tears, and curl. Make sure the printer environment is within specifications for humidity and temperature. Still jamming? No Problem solved. Yes Verify rollers and sensor flags inside Duplex Unit are undamaged and move freely. Remove paper scraps or debris that may be jamming a roller or sensor. Still jamming? No Problem solved.
