Table 10 Connection Wizard > IP Address (Ethernet) LABEL DESCRIPTION My WAN IP Address Enter the IP address provided by your ISP. My WAN IP Subnet Mask Enter the subnet mask provided by your ISP. Gateway IP Address Enter the gateway provided by your ISP. If your ISP did not provide one, leave it blank. DNS Server Address Assignment (if applicable) DNS (Domain Name System) is for mapping a domain name to its corresponding IP address and vice versa. The DNS server is extremely important because without it, you must know the IP address of a computer before you can access it. The P-2024 uses a system DNS server (in the order you specify here) to resolve domain names for VPN, DDNS and the time server. First DNS Server Second DNS Server Third DNS Server Select From ISP if your ISP dynamically assigns DNS server information. (In this case, the ISP assigns the WAN IP address too. See Network > WAN > Internet Connection.) The field to the right is read-only, and it displays the IP address provided by your ISP. Select User-Defined if you have the IP address of a DNS server. You might get it from your ISP or from your network. Enter the IP address in the field to the right. Select None if you do not want to use this DNS server.
