Chapter 9 Remote Management 9.1.2 System Timeout There is a default system management idle timeout of five minutes (three hundred seconds). The P-2024 automatically logs you out if the management session remains idle for longer than this timeout period. The management session does not time out when a statistics screen is polling. You can change the timeout period in the Maintenance > System > General screen. 9.2 Remote Management Screens 9.2.1 WWW Screen Use this screen to control HTTP access to your P-2024. To access this screen, click Management > Remote MGMT > WWW. Figure 36 Management > Remote MGMT > WWW Each field is described in the following table. Table 32 Management > Remote MGMT > WWW LABEL DESCRIPTION Server Port Enter the port number this service can use to access the P-2024. The computer must use the same port number. Server Access Select the interface(s) through which a computer may access the P-2024 using this service. Secured Client IP Select All to allow any computer to access the P-2024 using this service. Address Select Selected to only allow the computer with the IP address that you specify to access the P-2024 using this service. Apply Click this to save your changes and to apply them to the P-2024. Reset Click this to set every field in this screen to its last-saved value. 9.2.2 Telnet Screen Use this screen to control Telnet access to your P-2024.
