Group Dialing Dial the fax numbers of the multiple destinations at the same time. ❚ To enter a group registered under a one-touch speed dialing key: Press the one-touch speed dialing key assigned to the group you wish to fax. (→ p. 4-3) TEL=GROUP DIAL Ex: 0 3 C a n o n G R O U P 2 • The name of the group is displayed. • If you press the wrong key, press Stop/Reset. Then press the correct key. • NO TEL # appears if no fax number is assigned to the one-touch speed dialing key you pressed. ❚ To enter a group registered under a coded speed dialing code: Press Coded Dial, then use the numeric keys to enter the two-digit code assigned to the group you wish to fax. Then press Coded Dial and enter the correct code. • NO TEL # appears if no fax number is assigned to the coded speed dialing code you entered. Directory Dialing Directory dialing allows you to look up the other party's name and retrieve the number for dialing. This feature is convenient when you know the other party's name but cannot recall the One-Touch Speed Dialing key, the code for Coded Speed Dialing or Group Dialing where the number is registered. 1 Press Directory. :A _ • NO TEL # appears if the name of the other party is not registered and the display will return to the dial entry mode. 2 Press a numeric key to enter the first letter of the name of the party you are searching for. For example, if you want to search for a name that starts with the letter "H", press 4 (GHI) twice. 4 Press 4 (-) or e (+) to display the other names. • Pressing e (+) will display the names registered in alphabetical order. Pressing 4 (-) will display them in reverse order. • When you reach the last name, the display will return to the first name. 5 Press Set. • The other party's fax number and name or GROUP DIAL and the group's name appear. 3 Press Set. • The names registered in the machine are displayed according to the letter you entered. • If there is no name that starts with the letter you entered, the next name in alphabetical order appears. 4-4

Group Dialing
Dial the fax numbers of the multiple destinations at the same time.

To enter a group registered under a one-touch speed dialing key:
Press the one-touch speed dialing key assigned to the group you wish to fax. (

Directory Dialing
Directory dialing allows you to look up the other party’s name and retrieve the number for dialing. This feature is
convenient when you know the other party’s name but cannot recall the One-Touch Speed Dialing key, the code
for Coded Speed Dialing or Group Dialing where the number is registered.
