Printing a Received Document in the Correct Page Order The machine collates your received fax documents in page order by default. However, if you set PRINT IN ORDER to OFF, received faxes are printed in the reverse page order. (→ p. 9-8.) The illustrations below show the order in which the document is received depending on if you have enabled PRINT IN ORDER. Sent Document Your Machine Document sent in page order (1, 2, 3) PRINT IN ORDER setting is enabled. Page order (1, 2, 3) PRINT IN ORDER setting is disabled. Reverse page order 1 2 3 1 2 3 Reception 3 2 1 Reception • If you enable PRINT IN ORDER, the machine receives all pages of the document in memory first, NOTE and then prints them out. In this case, reception takes longer. • If there is insufficient memory to receive a document, the document will not print in page order even if PRINT IN ORDER is set to ON. 5-10
