Power Adapter can run the notebook but cannot charge a battery pack. When a Charged Battery Pack Is Available Turn off the notebook or initiate Hibernation, insert a charged battery pack, then resume from Hibernation. Power Adapter/Charger. While the battery pack is charging, the battery light on the notebook turns on. The light turns off when the battery pack is fully charged. Press Fn+F8 or double-click the Power Meter icon on the taskbar to view battery charge information.
